Job Description - Commercial Production Specialist III (04106)Job Description Requisition Title: Commercial Production Specialist IIIDescription: The Commercial Production Specialist III works in the Loan Production Group (LPG) and is responsible for performing due diligence, closing, funding, processing, and QC of all new loans, renewals, extensions and modifications for the Commercial lending teams including Private Banking, Business Banking and Managed Assets.
This individual must be able to provide high quality production while meeting deadlines.
This individual must possess a strong working knowledge of commercial/business banking loan documentation and the lending process.
Performs entity, collateral and compliance due diligence for all new loans, renewals, modifications and extensions.
Ensures that documentation is in compliance with the most recent updated policy and procedure.
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepares and/or review internal and external loan documentation for new loans, renewal, extensions and modifications.
Ensure that collateral is appropriately secured and perfected.Maintains proficiency in regulatory compliance and industry developments for assigned areas.
Maintains proficiency in Legal processes.
Works with third party providers collecting required documentation and processing associated fees.
Order services such as OFAC, Flood Certs, Tax Service, UCCs, Miniter, etc.
if required and have an understanding of what the documents do for the bank.
Manage pipeline of upcoming loan closings.
Review and verify the receipt of required loan documentation.
Perform Quality Control review to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to policies and procedures.
Process all incoming loan requests.
Requests may include researching loan documentation, wiring funds, funding loan transactions, creating new loans, participations and syndications, etc.
Monitor any daily and monthly reports for the LPG department.Provide support and guidance to other members of the LPG Team.Ensure that all LPG procedures are accurate and up to date with all regulations and guidelines to minimize all potential risk exposure.
Recommend enhancements to current processes and procedures to management to mitigate risk to the Bank.
Remain informed of changes to the regulations and make recommendations to management to comply with the regulations.
Work with Compliance, Risk Review and Internal Audit staff for all procedure and process reviews.Perform related and unrelated duties as needed or assigned by Management.
