Office Manager, National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Southwest Region (NNLM PSR) University of California, Los Angeles Requisition Number: 31238 Salary: $24.00 - $34.38 hourly Position Description: Under the direction of the Associate Director, National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Southwest Region (NNLM PSR), the Office Manager independently manages the operations of the NNLM PSR Administrative Office, including the NNLM PSR outreach program, subaward management, and programmatic needs of the NNLM All of Us Research Program.
Answers inquiries about resource identification and use of U.S.
National Libraries of Medicine (NLM) and NNLM products and services.
Responsible for coordinating complex NNLM PSR exhibit and training logistics, including arrangements for space rental within and outside of the University, exhibit service transportation, preparation and tracking of exhibit materials, and reimbursement of exhibit volunteers' expenses.
Manages the professional travel arrangements for all PSR Office Staff and other visitors and guests, including submitting conference registrations and completing requests for reimbursement of expenses.
Assists with preparation and submission of documents required for annual budget reviews.
Establishes subaward agreements, purchase orders, and monitors expenditures and progress report deadlines.
Trains, supervises, and reviews the work of student assistants to meet division needs and goals including examining workload levels, and setting and adjusting priorities according to established guidelines and impending deadlines.
The regional office of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Southwest Region (NNLM PSR) is located at the UCLA Louise M.
Darling Biomedical Library.
The Pacific Southwest Region includes the states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Nevada, and the U.S.
Territories in the Pacific.
