Manufacturer in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Service Manager for a permanent, direct hire role.
Will be responsible for developing and managing service department team members, interdepartmental interrelations with engineering and production, including customer service interactions, reports, and repairs.
This position addresses the requirement to increase aftermarket parts and services sales, support business growth initiatives and develop aftermarket business sales opportunities.
Among key duties: Customer service interface Handles customer replacement parts requests Parts quotation Parts identification support Part OEM coordination Part order initiation and processing Customer order acknowledgement Invoice initiation Handles customer service issues First line for contact for service issues Phone support for service problems Coordinates avenues for service solutions OEM support Internal resources Vendor support Automation sector experience is preferred but not required.
Key is good technical knowledge and background in manufacturing or industrial sector.
Experience as customer service or service manager.
Computer literacy in order to generate reports, results and details of customer interaction, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Epicor ERP knowledge a plus.
