Our field based Mobile Technicians deliver exceptional customer service to the highest technical and professional standards, on time and safely.
We'll give you the use of a van and tools, and using a smartphone App to receive bookings, you'll collect stock from your local Halfords and drive to customers' homes or places of work to carry out the jobs booked in.
Once the job is complete, you'll gain (fantastic!) customer feedback then move on to the next job, either in the field or return back to base where there will be other jobs booked in waiting for you. And you'll receive bonus based on customer feedback and jobs completed.
You can expect to be mainly working on:
Tyre changing Oil and filter changes
Replacing batteries Bulbs and Blades
Air con recharges Diagnostic checks
Window screen chip repairs Interim Services
Dash camera wiring
You'll have experience of working face to face with customers and giving high levels of customer service. With excellent communication skills, you'll be skilled at identifying customer needs, and a self-starter, with the ability to act on your own initiative and identify best way forward.
Ideally a qualified Technician with a level 2 qualification, you'll have a full driving licence and an understanding of Health and Safety regulations and practices, and will take responsibility for looking after the Halfords van and all equipment.
This role is full time, with hours worked across 4 days per week between 8am-8pm, with one weekend on, one off on a rota basis.
