They now have an exciting opportunity at a respected pharmaceutical customer for a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator.

The Opportunity This job is ideal for someone with a scientific sample dispatch, stores, or logistics background wanting to gain some additional experience in this field.

Reporting into the senior Lab Manager, you will act as a key point of contact for all research staff to deal with queries pertaining to stores stock inventory and dispatch of samples and will enhance operational effectiveness of this area.

The duties include: Receive, pack, prepare and ship R&D samples globally ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and transport regulations (air/road/sea) Dispatch goods ensuring all relevant documentation is correct and meets GLP, GxP and Health and Safety standards.

Resolve or escalate complex queries from the customer Participate in the preparation for regulatory inspections as needed.

Ensure that materials with special handling, storage or distribution requirements (such as hazardous shipments and temperature sensitive material) are properly monitored.
