Job description -Staff Accountant(CW) Position Summary The Staff Accountant (CW) position reports to the Accounting Manager and is primarily responsible for system implementation (UAT/parallel testing), fixed assets, information tracking as well as financial reporting.
This role will support the accounting department.
Here's what you'll be doing Maintain fixed asset ledger.
Including fixed assets transfer from SharePoint to Oracle.
Acquisition and disposal of fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization and associated reconciliations.
Daily cost updates procedures for inventory.
Maintain prepaid expenses schedule Prepare and upload JE for Arrow rebates/Sample tax accrual/MBO accrual/Rent Abatement.
Assist for system implementation for UAT testing as well as parallel testing to prepare for system go live.
Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
Analysis of a wide variety of financial data and communicate it in a clear and concise manner.
Prepare financial statement and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.
Here's what we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/information system 2-3 years accounting experience with general understanding of an accounting cycle.
Extensive knowledge of using Microsoft Excel and Strong system skill in Hyperion/Oracle/VBA.
Ability to interface with people and departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of the task Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills required Location: This position will be based in the San Jose office.
