Requisition ID 408803 Overview: Chevron's Tax Team is seeking an exceptionally capable and motivated individual to assist in the design of new and improved digital and technical solutions.

As part of the overall Tax Technology team, the successful candidate will be enabled to provide solutions that support the automation of our Tax team's processes.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Work with project and business team members to execute the tax departments digital transformation.

Support problem solving by gathering, documenting and communicating requirements for the tax department.

Blueprint existing data sources and design financial support processes, including: organizational capability and roles required for long term support of data transformation strategy.

Understand and develop data governance requirements.

Understand technical changes in the new finance functionality and their impact on tax department processes and systems.

Develop user test scenarios, participate in testing activities and evaluate test results to assure compliance, accuracy, and overall data quality.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.

2 years' experience working in a computer science, or business analytics field.

2 years' experience working in a tax, accounting or finance field.

Ability to understand the business process needs, articulate requirements, and define data dependencies and flows.

Ability to drive technical programs across Chevron, manage projects, timelines and risks, and consider the impact of regional requirement to the broader global environment.

Project management skills and solid business judgment capable of delivering high quality results.

Ability to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group, while executing on critical process improvement and technology projects.

??????? Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Accounting.

Experience with data modeling and large-scale data warehouses.

Experience with Agile project methodology.

Experience with large-scale tax or accounting business processes and data flows.

Experience with large data sets or data investigation.

Ability to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide audience and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses.

Able to proactively identify risks before they become problems.

Strong critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail.

Creative, positive, and helpful attitude with a team oriented, customer-centric working style.
