As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise.

As the Program Manager, Chief of Staff, you will focus on helping the Corporate Engineering organization mitigate risk, working across multiple product areas with other teams to secure Google data and support multiple business functions.

Responsibilities Drive cross-functional/cross-Product Area programs to ensure our Google data is safe and secure, and help with centrally coordinating various risk mitigation efforts across the entire Product Areas (efforts in-progress within our various verticals, and within our horizontals).Engage with multiple stakeholders across Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and Business development to address forward looking partner engagements.Serve as program lead on data security, collaborating with multiple stakeholders by gathering requirements, creating business cases, defining scope, developing project plans, and driving implementation/deployment.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.10 years of experience in program/project management working with teams in geographically disparate locations.Experience in one or more of the following: data protection, threat modeling, incident/emergency response, security risk mitigation, OS hardening, vulnerability management, testing, access management, or cryptographic concepts.Preferred qualifications:Track record of successful technical program management outcomes from idea to launching programs in multiple contexts throughout career.Ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams and to various stakeholders including executive leadership team, managers, and junior staff.Ability to talk about technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people.
