The Exempt Organizations (EO) Tax Services practice operates within the NTD, and focuses exclusively on tax exempt organizations, including: universities, health care systems and high profile charities that are integral to the well-being of their communities.
The Opportunity Become a member of the Exempt Organizations' Taxable Entities, a newly created group within the EO tax practice specializing in the Forms 1120 and 1065 income tax preparation for the taxable corporation and partnership affiliates of our EO clients.

You will work with high profile clients and EO engagement teams across the country.Key Responsibilities As a Senior, your main responsibilities will include: Providing first-level reviews of corporation and partnership income tax returns, including Forms 1120, 1065 and related international filings Supervising, coordinating, and developing a team of offshore tax professionals, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, and promoting a flexible and collaborative cultureAssist as needed in the preparation and/or review of income tax estimates, extensions, responses to tax notices and other tax matters.

Help develop staff and other junior tax professionals by providing effective coaching and feedbackAbility to prioritize when working on multiple projectsThrive in a highly collaborative approach to workFlexibility and willingness to work in excess of standard hours when necessaryTo qualify for the role you must have Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field and approximately two years of related work experience; or a graduate degree in tax or law and approximately four years of related work experienceValid US certified public accountant (CPA), or enrolled agent (EA) certification, or licensed attorney designation; or progress toward CPA, EA or licensed attorney designationPartnership experience and working command of Section 704(c)Broad exposure to federal income taxation3 years of work experience in corporate and/or partnership tax compliance including experience with forms 1120 and 10651 year of experience directly supervising and reviewing the work of othersProficiency in Microsoft Office tools including, Word and ExcelStrong analytical skills, written/verbal communication skills, problem-solving ability and attention to detailStrong organizational and project management skillsExperience in locating, reading and interpreting tax guidance from tax research services and federal/state tax form instructions and publications A commitment to continuous learning and development in a tax technology environmentIdeally, you’ll also haveMasters in Tax or Accounting orJuris DoctorateExperience with GoSystem and/or OneSource income tax preparation software What we look for Put simply, we’re interested in people who are strong team players that truly love preparing tax returns.
