Nissan West Region is currently looking for a Carflow & Business Planning Analyst to join our team in Irvine, CA.
The primary objective of the Carflow Analyst will be to provide analysis, data and reports to estimate customers’ demands and determine the best order mix of models and options to achieve the greatest profitability in sales model unit objectives and attaining market share.
Essential Job Functions Supports the analysis and determination of carflow in the execution of the business plan of profitability, market share and volume to ensure the right vehicle is in the right place at the right time for assigned region.
Analyzes and interprets data.
Combines data from multiple sources understanding their meaning, relationships and impact.
Compiles ideas on best practices and shares with team.
Presents analysis and conclusions to the management team that are accurate, clear and concise.
Serves as team member with projects of larger size and complexity.
May lead meetings with other departments to support better operations and decisions.
Works cross functionally inside and outside function.
Regularly communicates approved information outside of the function.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field from accredited university with 1-3 yrs related work experience in a corporate marketing & sales function within the automotive space.
Direct dealer contact, Contests & Incentives (C&I), vehicle operations and/or aftersales strongly preferred Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Experience maintaining and creating complex excel workbooks, such as V-look up and Pivot tables.
Adaptable and results focused with the ability to work in fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Passion for the automotive industry with a desire to peruse a Field Sales career path (DOM/FOM) at Nissan.
Travel Requirements This position requires up to 25% travel.
