The Controller retains the primary responsibility for coordinating, directing and managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company including the general ledger, financial reporting, accounting systems, accounts payable and all related financial and accounting procedures.
This position is also responsible for developing and conducting detailed cash flow, project and financial analysis, and assisting in expense budgeting and control.
The Controller reports to the Chief Financial Officer and interacts daily with the President.
-A minimum of seven (7) years of industry experience and three (3) years as a controller in a real estate related enterprise or five (5) years in public accounting.
-Demonstrated managerial, communication and public relations skills.
-Consistent positive recommendations from a previous employer or employers with respect to suitability for this position.
-A manner and presentation consistent with a highly professional image and the exercise of mature judgment.
-A willingness and demonstrated ability to work productively in a fast-paced, challenging, and demanding professional environment.
