Overview Join a great SPA team The Integrated Warfare Sensors Group (IWS) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate.
Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 25 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, advanced off-board electronic warfare/decoy and directed energy programs.
IWSG staff support a variety of tasks including: support and completion of major technical reviews; producing required acquisition documentation; meeting critical program milestone deadlines; managing program needs and external requirements, and ensuring the right resources are provided to the right priorities at the right time.
IN123 Responsibilities SPA has an immediate opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst for Product Support who will directly support a Navy Program Office whose mission is to develop, field and maintain Above Water Sensors on U.S.
Responsibilities include: Provide support to the PEO IWS 2.0 Product Support Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) to ensure all life cycle logistics planning, management structure, resources, and processes are in place for all the PEO IWS 2.0 portfolio of systems aboard Navy vessels.
Interface and communicate effectively with various acquisition, product support/logistics, engineering, and other technical professionals on a variety of technical and non-technical activities on wide range of integrated logistics, product support, and sustainment topics.
Assist in the internal and external coordination of IPS activities with Field Activities, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and other agencies.
Conduct thorough reviews of completed work to ensure required format and standards have been applied in accordance with latest DoD and NAVSEA 5000 series Program Acquisition Instructions.
Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and provide feedback.
Assist client with various programmatic duties to include, but not limited to, meeting attendance/support, development of presentations, meeting minutes, action items tracking, document routing and weekly reporting.
Maintain electronic and/or hard copy files.
Support and track various logistics Milestone Decisions and other significant program events and milestones.
Support the development and update of the IPS portions of Statements of Work (SOW), Specifications, Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL), Capability Development Documents (CDD), System Requirement Documents (SRD) and related Data Items Descriptions (DID), etc.
Support the development, management, and review of Product Support/logistics documents including: LCSPs, Logistics Resources Funding Summaries (LRFS), Level of Repair Analyses (LORA), Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Analyses, Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs), Technical Manuals /Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM), Navy Training System Plans (NTSP), etc.
Support the preparation, execution, and/or review of Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs), Systems Engineering Test Review (SETR) events, Maintenance Demonstrations (M-Demo), Configuration Management Boards (CCB), Integrated Product Support Management Team (IPSMT) meetings, etc.
Support the development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) issue papers, point papers, briefs, and other IPS program documentation to articulate and support IPS requirements.
As tasked, provide research and analysis on Product Support-related topics, and propose solutions to the client Some travel, as required.
Qualifications The successful candidate will possess: Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant academic area such as business administration, logistics, engineering management, or similar degree field and/or fifteen years of related experience.
Extensive knowledge and experience of the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements as they relate to all phases of acquisition lifecycle.
Experience and familiarity with the DoD Acquisition Process.
Knowledge of DoD 5000 series Directives and Instructions, Operating and Support (O&S) Cost Management Guidebook, Department of the Navy (DON) Workforce FY2018-2023 Lifecycle Logistics (LCL) Strategic Implementation Plan, Integrated Product Support Element Guidebook, Product Support Manager (PSM) Guidebook and other current Product Support related instructions and directives.
Strong oral and written communication skills; Proficient with Microsoft tool suite with extensive experience with MS Excel.
Detail-oriented and organized.
DOD Secret clearance (or eligibility to obtain one) Desired Qualifications: DAWIA Level III Acquisition Logistics certification Experience providing Integrated Product Support to Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and/or Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) (or equivalent)
