Job Description SummaryThe Business Unit (BU) Product Security Officer will be responsible for improving the security of BD products and solutions that are sold to customers by design, in use and through partnership.
This person will oversee and direct the adoption of the corporate product security framework within their business unit and various other aspects of the overarching product security program within their business unit portfolio of products (e.g.
risk assessment, awareness/training, incident response, strategic initiatives, and external engagements) in addition to engaging their BU Leadership Teams to report on status and coordinate on strategic inititives.
The BU Product Security Officer will utilize available corporate resources with expertise in security testing, architecture, incident response, and program management.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesEnsure BU adoption of product security framework activitiesCollaborate with BU Leadership Teams on critical cyber security issues, tactical alignment, and strategic initiativesProgram Management of remediation projects, new product development security solutions, process development, and capability maturityProvide product security expertise and establish product security partnerships with customers and external agencies, e.g., FDA, DHS, AAMI, AdvamedOversee development and updates to BU quality procedures and functional SOPs ensuring alignment to corporate security policies and proceduresProvide cross-functional leadership to communicate and prepare the organization for changes in World-Wide regulations and standards for Cyber security in Medical DevicesLeadership and development of direct reports in the BU Product Security function including Product Security Managers and EngineersIn collaboration with R&D, be the authoritative source for BU product security direction ensuring reliable solutions, implementation, and supportAuthority on Product Security for BU and primary liaison with legal and privacy officers.May perform other duties as requiredEducation and ExperienceA minimum of a bachelor’s degree required.
Ideal candidate will have a degree in project management, computer science, or technical discipline.A minimum of 5 years of experience in product security or proven ability to operate cross functionally to execute on BU-wide initiatives.Certification in healthcare information privacy and security or related cyber security certifications preferredPrimary Work LocationUSA NJ - Franklin LakesAdditional LocationsUSA MA - AndoverWork ShiftFull time
