The team owns all parts of the purchase funnel - Discovery, Evaluation, Purchase and Post-PurchaseThe Role:As a Lead Product Manager for Conversion, you will build a suite of products and capabilities that transforms the “Evaluation” phase of the funnel, starting with the Product Detail Page that is central to the Groupon shopping experience.
The scope is intentionally broad, covering fundamentals like streamlining customer journeys, to sourcing the right rich-media content that best showcases each deal, to improving coverage and impact of our user-generated content.
You will craft and drive the vision for Evaluation - and Conversion overall - and mentor your team of fellow high-performing PMs to help achieve that vision.As a Lead Product Manager, you will:Craft and socialize the product vision and strategyBuild relationships with people across all departments and influence teams to buy into your vision.
This includes stakeholders, but also executives and C-suiteDefine your KPIs, create a rolling 4-quarter product roadmap with a transparent prioritization frameworkDrive execution for initiatives that impact your KPIs, and apply analytical rigor to get meaningful and repeatable resultsEnhance and safeguard the customer experienceWe’re excited about you if you have:BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field (MBA is a plus)8 years of relevant experience with proven track recordAn entrepreneurial spirit: A self-starter mindset to execute in a fast-paced environment with minimal directionAn affinity for data: Use data both as an informant and a tool for decision making and generating buy-inExcellent verbal and written communication that inspires audiences at all levelsExcellent understanding of web and mobile product development processesStrong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills, including running and interpreting the results of large-scale A/B testsAn affinity for calling the shots and leading changes while also building bridgesPrior conversion funnel experience, or managing PM teams, is a big plusGroupon’s purpose is to build strong communities through thriving small businesses.
