OverviewYou’ll work in one of our Global offices as part of our Digital Transformation Consulting Practice as an Intelligent Process Automation: Practice Architect.The Digital Organization brings together the best of EXL’s digital capabilities—drawing from our Platforms & Products, EXL Digital Labs & Digital Consulting and our Advanced Automation & Robotics organization, combined into one cohesive global delivery engine.

This delivery engine is one of the growth catalysts for EXL worldwide.The selected individual should have enterprise software design and development knowledge as well as experience in project life-cycle.

The selected individual should be comfortable working in both team and individual settings, and will be helping to drive sales and pre-sales with EXL’s account and sales teams.ResponsibilitiesLead by example and play an active role in all aspects of project life-cycle management, providing oversight and support to multiple client teams focused on:rapid prototyping and client-focused requirements gathering to digital implementation designing and building automation components across multiple tools and platformspromote and streamline system integration testing, user acceptance testing, implementation to production environments, and confirmation and delivery of benefits across delivery portfoliowork with client leadership and EXL teams with project managers, business analysts & developers coach teams to deliver high quality results & manage client (internal & external) stakeholder expectationsTechnical responsibilities include the following as occasional requirements to help project teams:data modeling and reporting, database architecture, relational database developmentdesign/build/prototype artifacts (scripts, flows, rules, virtual workers, chat, etc.) and integrate with complex systems (Web services, Mainframe applications, OCR, etc.)Architect and practice level leadership responsibilities include:leverage and evangelize EXL’s digital estimation methodology to improve win rates on proposals and drive consistently high quality in global delivery projectsdrive code quality and consistency across implementation teams leveraging EXL’s code and delivery quality frameworkassist project managers to drive overall quality across implementations leveraging EXL’s program quality assessment frameworkSales, revenue generation and business development leadership:work with other architects /lead developers to support proposal development and presentations to client executive management opportunities to drive internal research and development to shape industry wide solutions and digital revenue through value-led relationships with clients and originate revenue via a team sales approach, collaborating with EXL sales, consulting, and executive leadership teams.Practice leadership partner with internal insurance business unit and build new EXL wide offerings to drive end to end transformations to drive transformation in the insurance industrydevelop and drive digital transformation strategies at EXL’s key growth and strategic accounts; leveraging Customer Experience (CX), RPA/Automation & Data/Enterprise Architecture; focusing on Customer Acquisition, Operations, Finance, Risk, Audit & Compliance.QualificationsExperience & AcademicBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electrical Engineering or similar field; MBA, MIS, or other advanced degree preferred.Strong combination of industry domain, technology, consultative delivery & selling skills.

Previous consulting experience (Big 4 or equivalent firm) strongly preferred.Thought Leadership on industry digital shifts in key industries specifically P&C Insurance & L&A Insurance.Skilled in rapid prototyping of digital solutions using design thinking and agile delivery.Several years of experience operating in a global delivery model as a practice or service line leader.Architecture and TechnicalCombination of strategic and analytical insights with a passion for technology.Good understanding of agile and DevOps approach and ability to implement automation in an operations infrastructure.

Depth of knowledge and previous experience in a technology/IT strategy related role combined with expertise in areas such as digital strategy/transformation, IT infrastructure & architecture, IoT, AI/machine learning, robotics, cloud, big data and analytics.Understanding of the application of current technologies (SOA, RPA, OCR, Screen Scraping, BPM, etc) to build holistic automated solutions solving complex business problems.Robotics & AutomationAt least 3 years of experience in working on the Blueprism, Automation Anywhere & UiPath platforms (at minimum 2 of 3).

Most preferably delivering in a global delivery / dual-shore model.Understanding of how RPA technologies interface with business applications and delivering rapid results.Understanding of exception handling best practices in an RPA environment.Skills in data modeling and reporting, database architecture, relational database development, and implementing RPA programs is desirable.

RPA / automation experience are must have requirements.Full lifecycle architecture and development experience in several medium to large scale RPA initiatives.Frameworks & Delivery10 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate related formal education are preferred.Strong preference to candidates with implementation of CX strategies, Robotic Process Automation project delivery as well as Systems Integration/Enterprise Architecture.Nice to have awareness of Devops, Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), ITIL & TOGAF.EEO StatementEEO/Minorities/Females/Vets/DisabilitiesJob SummaryID: 2019-7180Group: EXL ConsultingType: Regular Full-Time
