Purpose of the role: To work with the Luxury Meetings & Events Northern European team, offering support on their portfolio of accounts managing the day to day enquiries of their accounts and handling client/hotel issues in the absence of the account team.

Key Responsibilities include: - Driving & converting business from the LUXE NE portfolio of M&E accounts which are managed by the LUXE M&E team members (2 people) handling the day to day M&E enquiries - Complete loading process into Accor Sales Application (Sales Force), Update at all stages of the Contracting Process using Task & Actions to adhere to deadlines and ensure maximum conversion.

- Achieve individual target and track on monthly basis to ensure success - Problem solving with hotels and agents to maintain positive and professional relationships at all times, escalating where appropriate to the 2x Strategic Account Directors LUXE M&E - Utilise Accor M&E incentives and campaigns to maximise conversion of business.

- Attend fam trips and site inspections, as directed by M&E Sales Team Manager and put formal presentation together following each visit to cascade to team - Support events throughout the year attending and helping the M&E team where required.

Some occasional evening and weekend work is required - General administration duties where required in line with the needs of the business - Office based role within Hammersmith with occasional off site required & possible international travel may be required on an adhoc basis.

Anticipated Start Date: 18-11-2019 The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes: - LUXE M&E experience either within a M&E conference office or central sales within a LUXE portfolio - Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience - Understanding of enquiry handling and problem solving - Ability to think for themselves - Sales & target driven - French speaking desirable - Self-motivated - Organized - Influencing and negotiation skills are key to the role - IT skills (ability to grasp systems and competence with Microsoft Office) This job was originally posted as www.caterer.com/job/88176404
