Our client, a market-leading food service operator, wholesaler and cash & carry are currently looking for an Delivered Services Manager to join their busy depot in West Bromwich.

Opportunity to work for a dynamic and growing company.The main responsibilities will entail (but are not limited to) the following:
Managing and leading your team of employees in line with operational needs, company policy and procedure;
Developing and confirming route schedules with the depot manager and sales team;
To effectively manage driver behaviours and fuel efficiencies through active monitoring of route planning and telematics management, providing statistical operational performance information and reporting or updating your Manager or Director on a daily basis;
To proactively take the lead in resolving unforeseen problems as they occur ensuring the appropriate resolutions and taking necessary steps to prevent future repetition;
Coordinating drivers, vehicles, loads and journey planning in line with the company strategy and customer requirements;
Ensuring orders are picked accurately and in a timely manner;
Ensuring excellent customer service is delivered consistently both in store and out on the road;
To achieve company targets both individually and collectively;
Co-ordinate and take part in stock takes when required;
Any other duty as required by the line manager commensurate with the post.What do you require to apply?
A working knowledge of VOSA requirements for up to Class 2 delivery vehicles;
1-2 years relevant delivery management experience in a delivered/wholesale environment;
The ability to manage your own workload and multitask effectively;
Experience of using all Microsoft packages proficiently.The successful candidate will be required to work 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends) with a start time of 5am; attracting a starting salary of £20k to £25k.
