PR Manager (UK) - Skincare (No7) (Fixed Term Contract from- Oct 2019 - January 2020) London The PR Manager for skincare will be responsible for making our brands, primarily No7, the most talked-about amongst their respective target audiences.
The role includes building strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including press, influencers and the beauty industry, as well as the creation of events and activities that reach the consumer directly.
This FTC opportunity will give the successful candidate an opportunity to develop a broad range of skills and experience from media relations and agency management to helping to develop and execute 360° marketing plans and supporting brand activation planning in other key markets.
Your Responsibilities Delivering all aspects of brand PR activity in market (from creative development and project management, to measurement and evaluation) and working effectively with other teams (e.g.
Boots UK) to deliver world-class executions Successfully implementing the marketing consumer-driven strategy to deliver on business objectives, with a focus on building credibility for the brands and shifting brand perceptions to drive sales, driving buzz and talkability Leading the UK PR team to develop a best-in-class press office plan and exceptional campaign executions Managing our PR agency to deliver high quality on- and offline coverage and influencer content, meeting monthly and annual KPIs Briefing and working with the local marketing team and other agency partners to develop integrated marketing campaigns, with a consumer-led communications channel mix Accurately managing and tracking the PR budget Overseeing the UK monitoring and evaluation process, reviewing impact on business objectives and brand health, and analysing results and evolving our approach and improve performance A bit about you Local PR experience Experience of working with fast fashion/trend led brands and a strong interest in skincare, beauty, trends and culture Strong relationships within the beauty industry, key influencers and taste makers In-depth understanding of UK female consumers Thrives in a fast paced environment and able to deal with ambiguity and change Creative, energetic and not fazed by 'business as unusual' Keen understanding of commercial impact their work has on the business - cost conscious About Us Here at Walgreens Boots Alliance - Global Brands we believe in being pioneering, inspirational and connecting with people.
