This role is in the Manpower Planning Team, which is part of the wider Retail Operations function.

Key Responsibilities Build the stores payroll budgets, through the ACI model (Allocation of Colleague Investment) Work with stores and other stakeholders to maintain the optimum model and support the efficiency agenda Communicate and engage stores in the process: help them to understand and to operate efficiently and effectively Store salary is the single biggest expense to the business.

The ACI model is fundamental to how we provide our stores with the right resource to deliver the plan and getting this right is key.

Your Responsibilities Carry out analysis and project work to: Support the delivery of the pharmacy and retail payroll budget, to the required timescales Drive continuous improvement in ACI to deliver stores budgets in a simple and effective way Develop and maintain a plan incorporating all BAU and project milestones and actions Help drive the understanding of ACI across the retail and pharmacy operations team Work cross-functionally to: Support programmes changing workload in stores where payroll budgets may be impacted Support the Properties Team to understand the payroll costs associated with new stores and interventions Support the identification of opportunities to drive efficiency and reduce costs Work with the following stakeholders: Store regional teams: HOCEs, Area Managers, SOS team Pharmacy Operations Team Properties Team Stores Finance team Commercial teams and project leads Store Operations function particularly Retail Operations A bit about you: Excellent Excel capability Desire to learn and use TM1, the system used to build the ACI model Ability to explain, simplify and communicate complex information in a clear and concise way Ability to work collaboratively across all functions within the business and interact at all levels Ability to work at pace and demonstrate agility now and in the future Highly numerate, high level of attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise work effectively Be curious and eager to learn, develop and make a difference A bit about the team: Work right at the heart of the business and join us on the exciting journey we're on.
