Experience using CAD systems (NX or Catia V5) with the ability to position and manipulate models, as well as cut sections, dimension, & conceptualize designs 6 months of automotive experience in one or more of the following areas: Interior Systems, AVE, Body-in-white.
Broad vehicle knowledge VPM, CoDept,TeamCenter knowledge.
Ability to integrate stakeholder requirements into final vehicle design.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas and concepts successfully to all levels of management.
Excellent relationship building skills with ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.

Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Qualifications: BSMEMinimum of 2 years of automotive engineering experience.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills required Experience with the design and release of seat belt components and systems Good communication, problem solving, computer and presentation skills Preferred qualifications: Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university Restraint Systems Experience - airbags and/or seat belts FMVSS or Homologation testing and certification experience Experience with NX / TeamCenter CAD Software Familiar with PFMEA, DFMEA, DVP&R, FEA and CAE impact analysis tools Experience using proactive quality tools (Design for Six Sigma) Experience using reactive quality tools (Kepner-Tregoe / Shainin) DFSS Green Belt or Black Belt
