Do you have a background in events management or hospitality? Are you looking for a new challenge with a nationally recognised brand? We are seeking a Hospitality and Sales Coordinator for an Events Management company that anticipates a busy Christmas and New Year period.
This is a permanent position offering 40 hours a week on a shift basis.
You will be a bright, bubbly and switched-on pair of hands with bar and supervisory experience.
Your role will be split between Front of House and managing events "on the night" and Office based sales and administration duties.
Duties of the role include: - Bar Management responsibilites to include setting up and clearing down.
- Ordering bar stock and keeping bar area clean at all times, including line cleaning - Monthly stock taking - Cashing up - Working on the bar during busy periods - Training new staff and rota management - Coordinating weddings and corporate events - Liasing with potential clients and conducting venue tours - Answering sales queries via email and telephone - Booking events and managing details - Making Sales calls to grow the business Candidates will be required to work weekends and bank holidays.
Usual days off will be Tuesdays and Sundays (unless there is an event).
Shifts are dependant on business needs with some earlier mornings and late nights, especially on Friday and Saturday.
The ideal candidate will be: - Experienced in bar, waiting, hospitality, catering, hotels and/or events - Have a full UK driving licence and own transport due to rural location - Have an "all hands on deck" mentality - Be comfortable speaking to clients, customers and potential customers - Competent with all aspects of bar operations - Good numeracy and literacy skills For more information, or to apply, send CVs to Ellie or call the office At KHR we take care to ensure that you are represented as well as possible so it is worth checking your CV for layout, spelling and grammar as well as making sure it is up to date before you submit.
