You could be exactly what we need We're ideally looking for someone with: An understanding of transformative open access agreements, journal subscription agreements and open access publishing Experience of working within an institution in subscriptions, open access, research or scholarly communications A strong knowledge of funder policies for Open Access here in the UK and Plan S Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen well and adapt your approach based on what you hear Confidence and the ability to articulate or present a compelling case About the role This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a new, fast paced and innovative area that has a direct impact on the future of open access and the achievement of Plan S and funder policies.

You will develop and increase your knowledge of transformative agreements by engaging at both the national and institutional level and gain insight into how the UK compares to other international consortia.

You'll work closely with cOAlition S and our members to help overcome any strategic and practical issues around the uptake and implementation of transformative open access agreements.

You'll be the subject matter expert, fully understand the policy landscape and communicate this clearly and with confidence.

This will include creating communication plans, attending meetings, preparing and delivering presentations and developing very strong relationships with senior leaders.

You will share your expertise internationally and support the transformation in other consortia.

Due to the flexible way we work and nature of the role, we will be able to consider various working patterns from 21-35 hours a week and will adapt the duration of the contract to reflect this.

This role would suit someone seeking a secondment.
