Salary £20,000 - £22,000 dependent on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (1-hour lunch)
Our client based in Luton has been established since 1986. We are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant.
Responsibilities Accounts Assistant:
Purchase ledger to include entry, reconciliation, payments and setting up purchase orders
Sales ledger to include entry, allocation and reconciliation
General administration and dealing with incoming calls
Filing VAT Returns
Filing CIS Returns
Bank reconciliations, petty cash, credit cards and retention accounts
Credit ControlPerson Profile
Strong organisational and administration skills
Able to work independently and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
Organised and methodical
Excellent communicator with good telephone manner
Intermediate level Word and Excel
Experience of Sage
