We are inspired by the important missions of our customers and we believe that by working together we can deliver exceptional solutions and services to enable the safety, security, health and well-being of our nation Currently, we are seeking an Information Assurance (IA) Systems Administrator for the Applications, Infrastructure and Systems Support Third Iteration (AISS III) contract at Scott AFB, IL.
The selected candidate must have or be able to obtain government security clearance, per contract requirements (Clearance Level: Secret).
AISS III provides systems engineering, migration, integration and sustainment, service lifecycle management, system, network and database administration, training, testing, architecture and system design, configuration and asset management, and information assurance support.
An IA Systems Administrator: Is responsible for performing Information Assurance tasks and system administration for systems, servers, and policies serving the AMC enterprise.
Implements IT security solutions and assures successful implementation.
Has a strong knowledge of enterprise-level Security principles and methods, and understands IAVAs, POAMs, TaskOrds, etc.
Monitors applications, systems, and hardware for unusual activities Mitigates risk by analyzing architecture and data needed for updates and patches Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system-wide software, and allocates mass storage space.
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus 2 years’ experience in related field Secret Security Clearance Security CE Certification ADDITIONAL REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Certified in one or more of the following: Windows, HBSS, RedHat, Solaris, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, Mongo, VMWare, CISCO, F5, Tivoli, AWS, Cloud, ITILv3 Foundations We are GDIT.
