Application Support Developer Croydon, Surrey £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience Benefits include 25 days holiday, pension, healthcare, monthly team lunches with regular social events Full Time – Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Our client is a long-established Fintech company who are the world leader in connecting the financial markets to the physical commodities eco-system.

They are seeking an experienced Application Support Developer to join their busy team at their offices in Croydon, Surrey.

The main responsibility of this position is taking responsibility and ownership in delivering 2nd and 3rd line application support on a range of bespoke applications, answering a wide range of queries from the company’s clients and providing exceptional customer service.

Other duties include: Trouble shooting to identify issues (including configuration problems), providing solutions and/or escalating to the development team as required Identifying support priorities based on the SLA agreements in place Managing client queries and expectations effectively to drive client satisfaction Testing the deployment of installation packages and release notes Documenting issues to assist and maintain your support knowledge base This role would suit someone who has a passion for delivering and driving exceptional solutions and service for the company’s clients.

The company also have a development hub in Romania so willingness to travel between the UK and Romania is highly desirable.

Essential skills required: Substantial experience within a support or help desk position Knowledge of SQL server skills, TSQL and C# Proven problem-solving abilities with a determination to get things done Ability to read, understand and step through code to diagnose issues Previous experience of servicing different organisation types and improving existing support processes Other skills required: Excellent communication (internal and external) and organisation skills Able to prioritise workload with exceptional attention to detail The ability to use own initiative, multi-task and work under pressure Positive and enthusiastic attitude to work Focused and committed to your own personal development and growth If you have the right skills and experience for this role, we would like to hear from you NB.
