The Role The Accounting Specialist is responsible for assisting the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization.

This position reports to the Accounting Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong communication skills looking to grow their career in accounting and have the ability to wear multiple hats.

Essential Functions Prepare accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports, to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards defined within the department.

Providing customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments Report to the Accounting Manager the finances of the organization.

Establish records of accounts and input entries into to proper accounts.

Document and ensure proper keeping of financial records, making use of current technologies.

Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel.

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts - customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos Partner with sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process on delinquent accounts Desired Experience Experience in a customer-facing role Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures a plus Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience a plus Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities Proficient in Excel or Sheets a plus ClearCompany is an equal opportunity employer.
