We take real pride in our products and due ongoing development we are looking for a talented Project Engineer to join our team in a project role in support of our Test Equipment, both for new and legacy products.
We will offer ongoing training and support to develop your project skills and enable you to take greater responsibility over time.
Working within our manufacturing facility as Project Engineer you will support project activities using your proven coordination skills to ensure we deliver our complex Test Systems on time to the highest quality and -on budget. These Test Systems support the Qualification and Production Acceptance testing of our electro-mechanical product portfolio.
In a senior Project Engineering capacity you will support the development of our Test Equipment through the entire lifecycle.
As Project Engineer you will have complete ownership of your own projects, and will support a number of concurrent new / conceptual projects alongside project engineering support to our current product range projects at any one time. Â Typical values will be circa £100k to start with but as your skills and expertise grows so will the value of the projects assigned to you.
The role will be highly varied with strong emphasis on creative and commercial acumen as you will also act as point of contact for your customers.
To succeed in this varied project role you will be degree qualified in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, project, aeronautical or similar) with some proven industry experience in engineering whether as an industrial placement, sandwich year or 1-2 years post-graduation as a minimum (applications welcome from more experienced candidates with the relevant academic qualifications).
Any exposure to project engineering or development of test equipment solutions advantageous.
You may come from any number of industries spanning automotive, aerospace, oil & gas as long as you have the blend of commercial and technical project skills to deliver your projects.
