Description

Permanent, 39.5 hours per week, term time only
Ebor Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust serving children aged 2 to 16. It is our aspiration to develop geographical hubs of schools that share our values.
We are now looking for a Behaviour and Attendance Manager to join us, supporting Key Stage Leaders (KSL’s) and leading and managing all aspects behaviour, attendance and effort across their Key Stage.
Keeping standards of behaviour high in your Key Stage by effectively implementing the academy’s sanctions, systems and policies, you will make sure that student behaviour is properly monitored at the appropriate level and that behaviour is recorded and communicated to the Key Stage Leaders.
Monitoring students via report sheets and planners, you will check the planners of the entire key stage each term, picking up on any students who are beginning to cause concern but have not already been referred by form tutors. Ensuring that Form tutors are completing registers accurately and encouraging them to look for patterns of absence, you will inform the Assistant Headteacher weekly and, if necessary, more frequently of all ongoing and new cases.
We are looking for someone with a good understanding of KS3 and KS4 students, SEND, safeguarding and child protection issues. With recent experience of working with KS3 and KS4 students in an educational setting, you will have knowledge of up to date strategies to improve attendance and behaviour, along with a well-developed understanding of strategies to manage and support young people with challenging behaviour in a school environment.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing Trust that offers staff development opportunities across its staff, including facilities team members.
