Your opportunity The Workplace Programme function is responsible for the planning, management and financial control of Workplace Services capital projects; this can range from office fit outs to system rollouts.
The team ensures that project lifecycle is maintained at all stages and that appropriate resources are in place to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and that agreed objectives are achieved.
They also manage the change requirements and operational communications to support these programmes.
Within Workplace Programme sits a Project Management Office (PMO) that defines and maintains standards for project management within Workplace Services, as well as developing Quality and Assurance strategies that ensure the appropriate governance is in place on all projects.

Your role The support managers will need to update and accurately maintain the PMO, ensuring all projects are captured, fully scoped and costed with appropriate timelines.
The support manager will also play a key role in the handover into BAU including liaison with operations, contract management, performance and analytics team as required.
The role will report to the National Workplace Programme Manager.
It is expected that the role of the Programme Support Manager will evolve over time as we embed the new structure for Workplace Services.
The role will include some elements of travel across the estate.
Coordinate Workplace Services support to Real Estate project activity.
Coordinate Workplace Services support to Acquisitions.
Represent Workplace Services interests in support of creation of new office and complete site surveys as required.
Manage work in progress and pipeline of work coming through.
Develop high quality business cases and propositions, which defines accurately the preferred solution, resources, cost, quality and benefits expected.
Identify & manage stakeholder relationships, managing internal and external relationships as appropriate.
Liaison with key WS&RE stakeholders at project inception to ensure appropriate sign off is in place.
Ensure Workplace Services standards are included in scope in all projects.
Develop new and innovative solutions to address and prevent problems and continue to evaluate and improve Workplace Services standards.
Liaison with Change and Communication Manager and Project Managers to ensure full communication strategy is in place for all elements of projects.
Liaison with Moves Manager, Performance and Workplace Service Managers to ensure full communication and stakeholder strategy is in place for all elements of moves.
Ensure that the change impacts are assessed and detailed change management plans implemented for all projects.
Work with all parties to ensure projects deliver value for money and achieve the benefits sought.
Work with all parties to ensure projects deliverables are fully compliant with statutory and legal requirements.
Work with internal and external teams to ensure successful execution of project deliverables.
Identify & monitor project risks and issues via risk register and escalate as appropriate.
Support effective governance and decision-making.
Manage building handover process liaising with project, Deloitte Performance, Deloitte Contract Management and Deloitte Service partners.
Ensure service matrix and asset list is created and verified prior to handover from project.
Ensure process is in place to manage warranties and it is clearly communicated to all parties.
Workplace Services owner for defects and snagging.
Assist in the development of Capital Plan for the estate.
Any additional task as assigned by Workplace Programme Management.

Location: This is a national role and can be based in one of our regional offices.
Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity.
The role can be worked on a full-time basis with limited opportunity for home working throughout the year.
