In addition to providing inpatient care to infants, children and adolescents on the inpatient unit, the division director will focus on quality improvement and safety work within the department, including coordination of care with the pediatric emergency department.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Physical Demands and Work Environment Overview As division director, the candidate will lead and direct the pediatric inpatient unit, including coordination of faculty schedules and development of quality improvement initiatives and provide pediatric hospitalist care for patients from the newborn period through adolescence, including attendance at deliveries, and consultation to the pediatric emergency department.
