Absence Management/ Time and Labor Technical (80%) Functional (20%) Consultant Seeking someone with strong techno-functional PeopleSoft HCM expertise specific to the Absence Management (AbM) and Time & Labor (T&L) modules including knowledge of integration points/triggers with North American Payroll, Global Payroll, Security, Workflow, and Core HR.
Will be extensively involved with in-house Business Analysts working on special stabilization projects.
This person will play an active role interacting with campus users in the development of specification documentation, technical artifacts, and testing/deployment of solutions.
Environment: PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.56 Requires: Ability to sustain big picture and delivery focus within a high volume and changing environment Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and organizational skills with the ability to deliver across different levels Ability to complete concurrent complex projects without considerable direction Key responsibilities include: T&L support including application development and maintenance of time and labor rules, schedules, workflow configuration in a complex multi campus, multi job, and multi work group environment Support of process improvements to fix various issues as well as elimination of manual processes This involves working with business process owners to revisit and rewrite requirements, fix existing configurations as well as write new rules and custom processes Designing and improving processes and tools to support and advance service delivery Working independently to generate and execute final solutions to complex business problems Must have: Hands-on experience with AbM calculation configuration items including Entitlements, Takes, Accumulators, Variables and other Elements.
Includes knowledge of custom SQL creation for maintenance and setup of Absence Management Formulas and configuration of Processing Elements including, but not limited to, Process Lists, Sections, Earnings and Deductions, and defining and creating an Organizational Structure for multiple institutions and other complex scenarios and business practices.
Deep understanding of technical aspects of T&L with a focus on Time Administration processing and rules creation using delivered templates and on-line custom rule creation tools.
Knowledge of T&L tables, leave plans, Payable Time Attributes, and TimeAdministration Experience with development/modification of People Code to implement specific business rules and validations that enable automation of business processes.
Other responsibilities include: Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft COBOL processing, results, and resolving error processing Integrated configuration using Time and Labor module and Payroll for North America Knowledge of Creating, Importing, Exporting, and Comparing Rule and Non-Rule Packages Knowledge of App Designer, PeopleCode, SQL, and DMS script is a plus Federal, state, and local knowledge of organizational policies and practices to include Extended Leave and Leave Donation Strengths include excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with ability to quickly the grasp business - provided by Dice
