Location: Phoenix AZ Duration: 6 Months Job Description: Address/Resolve all user incidents in Microsoft Production environment, especially with AZURE based systems Triaging production incident issues and proactively preventing them from reoccurring Resolve Microsoft/AZURE problem tickets Enhancements and bug fixes to the current environment Regular Maintenance activities to support the Microsoft and AZURE environment Monitoring and maintaining the Microsoft and AZURE environment Change control migrations User Request Management Monthly Audits Problem Management Request resolutions Continuous improvement activities Sharing 247 on-call responsibility in team rotation basis Working effectively with offshore team Effectively engaging customer IT and Business leadership teams Providing production solution roll out support activities Reporting the issues effectively and resolving them within SLAs Knowledge management and sharing it with the team Required Skill: Strong Knowledge & Practical Experience in WCF, MVC, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Entity Framework, Web API & .NET Core.
Hands-on experience in creating Web / Micro Services using ASP.NET Core Framework.
Strong Knowledge on Azure Cloud based solutions including Azure APIM, Azure App Services, API development & implementation in Azure cloud.
Good Knowledge on Executing / Implementing REST API across different programming languages Proficient in SQL DB Design, development (creating packages, procedures, functions & complex queries) using SQL Server, SQL Server Integration (SSIS) and Reporting Services (SSRS) Practical experience on GITHUB Source Code Version control software Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities Expertise in .NET and SQL Server technologies Experienced in application support processes and methodologies Experienced in analysis, design, development and testing activities Preferred Skill: Experience working with Agile / Sprint development methodology.
Hand on experience on Service Now, JIRA & Confluence & Splunk tools Experience in leveraging the Cognizant's application accelerators / products / Services.
Fair knowledge on automated tools for Code quality analysis and automated builds - provided by Dice
