Professor and Yahoo Founder Chair, Computer Science Location: New Orleans, LA Open Date: Sep 9, 2019 Description: Tulane Computer Science is Hiring The Yahoo Founder Chair Yahoo Founder Chair: The Tulane Computer Science Department invites applications for the Yahoo Founder Chair in Computer Science.

The Yahoo Founder Chair is a pivotal appointment for our program that will establish Tulane’s Computer Science program as among the national and international leaders in the application of computer science to related disciplines.

The successful candidate will be an internationally recognized scholar whose presence will enhance existing research collaborations at Tulane and establish new ones both within the computer science department, within the School of Science and Engineering, and across the other Tulane schools and colleges.

We particularly encourage applications from senior colleagues whose work is in an area related to data.

The successful candidate will have: an established record of excellent teaching at the undergraduate and PhD levels, excellent research credentials nationally and internationally, and a record of substantial research funding and experience in leading multidisciplinary research projects.

Qualifications: PhD in Computer Science; tenured position as a senior associate or full professor Application Instructions: A complete application should include a CV, statements on research and teaching, and at least three letters of recommendation.
