Service scheduler Location: Bolton Hours: Monday to Friday Days - 35 hour a week Salary & Package £23K - £25K Depending on experience Good pension 25 days holiday Bank holidays Health Care Bonus Currently recruiting for a Service Scheduler to join a small team within a large successful engineering business to help organise and direct a Large Field service team serving several manufacturing sites across the UK & Ireland.
The Job: Schedule Service Engineers efficiently - Considering customer needs, Skill sets, Location, commute to site, -etc.
Speak to customers on the phone - taking orders / requests- To escalate issues that cannot be resolved in a timely manner whilst taking owner ship of issues Keeping the system up to date Work in a team Build relationships with colleagues and customers Team working with Service and Technical managers/other departments to ensure that the engineer has the necessary documentation to allow the job to be done effectively.
Escalating resource concerns with managers to enable problem solving, good planning and on-time job completion.
Liaison with Service Admin team on finance issues as and when necessary.
The Candidate Strong communication skills - In constant communication with colleagues and customers Logical approach to tasks and organising the Engineers to be as efficient as possible Flexible approach to work - Priorities could change throughout the day.
Capturing data to pass onto colleagues Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers both externally and internally.
