Hotel Events Sales Coordinator - Northamptonshire OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY FOR A HOTEL EVENTS SALES COORDINATOR PERMANENT - FULL TIME To £20,500 Are you a confident customer facing hospitality professional? Do you have experience of managing events from concept through to delivery and aftercare? Would you like to work in one a hotel property that can offer weddings, conferences, golf and spa? This is a truly exceptional opportunity for a career minded Events Sales Coordinator to work in this very impressive 4 star hotel Working in a small sales team you will be responsible for looking after all a mix of the hotels’ Meeting & Events and Weddings.
Your role within the team will be highly varies and this could include manging the following type of events: Private dining; High end meetings; Team away days; Christmas parties; Corporate events & Weddings This role requires someone who can multi-task and has the ability to wear lots of different hats to different types of clients, Some of you key duties will include Managing each project from inception through to aftercare Undertaking show arounds around the hotel property Ensuring each client is carefully account managed to the highest level of customer care, ensuring every aspect of the events is meticulously met to the clients’ needs Liaising with various each department to ensure staffing levels are sufficient for each event Putting together contracts and costs for private event clients Ensuring guest receive tailored welcome packs Meeting the VIPs on the event days Billing and collecting payment for the private event(s) Undertaking a full service review after the event As part of the Sales Team your primary role will be to ensure you act with a high degree of urgency making sure that as a team you convert as many of the incoming enquires as possible.
As you role develops you will then be expected (and trained) to make more proactive calls to various clients both new, lapsed and current to maximise all potential revenue opportunities.
Who you need to apply for role? You will preferably have previous event / sales and or conference coordination experience within the A naturally gifted and confident sales person An innovative thinker who could look to offer clients difference solutions to their events An outgoing friendly and engaging personality The flexibility to be on site to do hotel show arounds and attend events when required - this will include some weekends Strong administrative, organisational and IT skills.
Ideally a car driver What is on offer? A starting salary of up to £20,500 per annum The opportunity to work in a stunning property with amazing grounds and facilities A predominately Monday to Friday role.
