MVH has a Full Time opening for a Dietary Director.
The Director of Dietary is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities of the Dietary Services Department.
This includes providing nutritional and attractive meals for patients and facility employees, maintain an organized and sanitary environment, monitoring supply inventories and purchasing of food and supplies and managing an effective Dietary staff.
Job Requirements EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: High School Diploma and three years of demonstrated responsible food service management experience, with at least two years in a management/supervisory role in an institutional type setting.
This position requires certification as a Dietary Manager.
SKILLS: Knowledge of nutrition, basic therapeutic diets, menu planning techniques, basic knowledge of dietary supplemental requirements, dietary substitutes and basic food service sanitation.
