Description

Technical Documentation Manager – ML and NLP startup Technical Documentation Manager needed for a company using ML and NLP to help companies make better data driven decisions.

They have grown to nearly 150 people, across two continents and are expanding quickly having just secured ten’s of millions in funding.

It’s a really exciting to join – they are opening up new customers, new markets and taking on people to continue the development of their product, and with the money to invest in their people You will be the first Technical Documentation Manager in the company – they currently have a consultant doing it but now want to bring the function in house – so this is an ideal role for someone who wants to shape a documentation function at a fast growing, well backed start-up What will you do? You will be establishing and owning the company-wide documentation and management system (including picking the tech and processes), and working cross-functionally across the company to write both external and internal documentation.

You will get to shape all of the documentation, from product requirements through to engineering specifications and will be visible across the company as the subject matter expert in technical documentation What do you need? You will need good experience in a technical writing/documentation role.

As you will be setting up the function you also need to be passionate about doing this – you don’t need experience of doing it before (although that would be great), but you do need a passion for owning the function from scratch You will be documenting B2B software so need to be comfortable with this.

As the Technical Documentation Manager you will also need: ·An ability to work on multiple projects and manage timelines in a fast paced environment ·Experience with engineering tools such as Confluence, Jira, Jenkins/CircleCI or other workflow/automation tools Salary and benefits: Paying 55-75k, and additional benefits including equity.

The environment there is awesome – the engineering and data science team are excellent, with a lot of research focused work being done.

So you will spend a lot of time getting awesome ideas into products Please send your CV for immediate consideration.

If you would prefer an informal chat, then please get in touch.
