Are you ready to help our tenants get the most out of their homes?
Over the coming months Nottingham City Homes will be looking to recruit experienced, qualified Painters across our Construction, Repairs and Maintenance Services (CRMS) area of the business. We will be looking for Painters to join us to work in various different areas including; new build projects, within our responsive repairs team, aids and adaptations, damp and mould projects, kitchen and bathroom installations, to name just a few.
Whichever area of the team you join, our tenants are at the heart of what we do and, whether you’re working alone, with other trades or alongside tenants, we’ll rely on you to deliver an efficient, safe and friendly service of the highest quality.
Apprentice trained, you will hold a suitable qualification such as City & Guilds Advanced Crafts or NVQ 3, or evidence of qualification by experience. You’ll bring an organised but flexible approach and the ability to meet deadlines. Naturally, you will have experience in a repairs, new build, maintenance or contract environment, including assessing and inspecting jobs, updating records and great customer service skills.
A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is beneficial for this role.
Initial advert closing date: 24 January 2020 – this will likely be extended and advertised on a rolling basis.
We will be looking to recruit candidates for these roles on a regular basis over the next couple of months and as such, if you are not interviewed/appointed during our first round of recruitment, this does not mean you have been unsuccessful – we will keep your records on file (unless you ask us not to) and contact you when a suitable vacancy comes up
