Description 

Are you an experienced Integrations Specialist with an understanding of agile project methodologies and tools? If the answer is yes, Altro may have the opportunity you are looking for… Altro are currently recruiting for an Integrations Specialist to join our growing in-house Computer Services team here in Letchworth Garden City .

This role will play a key role in the definition, management and delivery of system integrations for systems internally and with external suppliers and customers.

Across the range of technologies deployed this role will ensure all system and transaction integrations are fully managed, developed, documented and tested to meet the needs of the project and business.

As an Integrations Specialist, your main responsibility will include: Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in all areas of the company to ensure consistent approach to the delivery of robust integration solutions.

Challenge integration requests to ensure solutions are in line with our current and future IT strategy Liaise with functional experts and line of business champions to ensure that any proposed solution populates data in the appropriate recipient systems to support downstream business processes Develop and use SSIS / SQL tools to support and develop our current integrations between systems, using a variety of flat file and database connection managers Leverage development skills such as Java, Java Script, ESQL, XML, XSLT, REST, SOAP and JSON Use knowledge of EDI standards and integration options to discuss and develop opportunities with external suppliers and customers for integration.

Use of SQL to manipulate data, either standalone or within the context of an SSIS project Comfortable viewing objects in the database such as tables, views, triggers and stored procedures, making suggestions for changes as appropriate Work with SQL Management Studio or other database tools to implement processes required to schedule jobs, integrity checks and alerting mechanisms as appropriate Design the flow of interfaced data through the systems to ensure robust process with inbuilt error checks as appropriate.

Support the end to end testing of all business process and project flows which utilize integration services Who are Altro? The Altro Group has 2 trading divisions.

What are we looking for? SSIS / SQL Server related qualifications Integration technologies related qualifications Related technical subject certifications and/or courses attended Understanding of agile project methodologies and tools, ideally SharePoint, Office365, Jira and Confluence.

Experience working with transactional integrations or those related to eCommerce system integrations Understanding of the technical architecture and tools for system integrations including industry standards in areas like EDI, API development etc Good all round business knowledge working cross functionally across departments.

Experience creating technical documentation which represents business process and data flows If you have the relevant experience and would describe yourself as self-motivated and enthusiastic, then we would love to hear from you
