Technical Recruiter

We are searching for a recruiter who has some previous recruiting experience, ideally a Technical Recruiter but any recruiter with a good attitude, who is open to learning and has a desire to earn money would be just fine. Our ideal candidate is a recruiter with IT recruiting experience and has a proven track record of success however we will consider a junior level recruiter who has some sales and cold calling experience in previous positons and is willing to learn the technology. This is a base salary plus commission compensation model.



REQUIREMENTS: - Previous recruiting experience is desired and a few years IT recruiting experience in the contract staffing/consulting and/or permanent placement industry would be ideal. We prefer someone with a Bachelors degree however if you have some schooling and a compelling story let's talk. We would like someone who is professional, competitive, energetic and motivated. Excellent interpersonal skills including strong self motivation, focus and passion for recruiting are key to succeding in this career. The ability to multi-task, problem solve and assist co-workers is also a big plus. This job is located in downtown Bethesda, MD. We are 2 blocks from the Bethesda Red Line Metro stop if you like public transporatation. If you prefer to drive we have a parking garage next door and we pay for your parking.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



Searching for (using various Internet sources and referral techniques) qualified candidates



Screening and presenting viable candidates to our clients, based on detailed job descriptions Assisting in checking employment references Arranging for background checks if necessary Scheduling interviews Briefing and debriefing candidates before and after interviews Managing the offer process including helping to follow-up with candidates and extending offers



Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation on all conversations with candidates Building a database of candidates with whom you have a relationship with Understanding technology and the marketplace
