Job Overview:The Principal F & A Analyst is responsible for Supporting NCSA offshore product lines forecasting process, providing direction and feedback to the Finance team members.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:



- Drive the calendar for the month close. Be aware of all close activities and tightly monitor the process to ensure deadlines are met

- Drive the forecast calendar for the quarterly rolling forecast process. Develop a detailed calendar and communicate it with local and international teams. Once calendar is set, help monitor progress and highlight delay concerns or fix them

- Be a finance partner for the Overhead functional leads i.e., Commercial, Supply Chain, etc. Work with the leads to set their budgets, track actuals on a monthly basis and send reports

- Consolidate 13-week Cash flow forecast and review with Product line & Corporate Management

- Oversee development of DOE and SG & A budgets based on Area business plans and goals

- Manage corporate reporting requirements including Balance sheet, Income statement, Cash flow statement, Capex reporting and other Management reports

- Oversee development of cost accounting standard rates for Marine operations.

- Continually monitor key business targets, asset performance and changes in operational plans.

- Lead monthly cost performance reviews with operational managers including monthly and quarter-to-date trends, variance analysis and other KPIs.

- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close.

- Capital budgeting and business evaluation of capex projects, budgetary control and management of Capex projects.

- Perform ad hoc financial analysis on various business scenarios to provide decision support to senior management.

- Respond to audit requests as necessary

Basic Qualifications:



- Bachelors in Finance or Accounting

- CPA, CA or CFA

- 6-8 years Big 4 or FP & A experience

- Experience leading a team

- Advanced excel user and knowledge of Hyperion planning

- Experience in Oracle system a plus

- Experience in Big 4 or in FP & A.

- Highly skilled in excel and PowerPoint

- Demonstrated ability to conduct complex, data driven analysis

- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

- Ability to multi-task and meet tight reporting deadlines
