Lockheed Martin is seeking a Purchasing Analyst for the SEMAC Engineering Services Lab team. Position is responsible for Purchasing Card (P-Card) placement of prototype hardware as well as purchase requisition creation to support MFC Engineering programs. SEMAC Engineering Services supports multiple MFC Engineering programs responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and performance for all P-Card transactions.



Duties include:

Prepares requests for estimates



Analyze and evaluate estimates



Selects or recommends suppliers



Analyzes cost to meet program targets



P-Card reconciliation and payment



Coordinates itions, deletions, or modifications to purchase requisitions



Create purchase requisitions via PRR tool



Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Ability to multi-task is a must. Experience in a high volume work environment.



Desired Skills:

Successful candidate must be proactive and have excellent customer service skills



Must be able to manage a challenging workload effectively and efficiently exhibit strong problem-solving skills, be a self-starter and an excellent team player.



Knowledge and experience in P-Card purchasing and P-Card reconciliation



Be familiar and have experience with P-Card procurement including a working knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P), SAP and ABM



Procurement experience with P-Card buying.



Have a general familiarity with the marketplace for electrical and IT components



Self-motivated, demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership of tasks and accountable



Able to work independently and in a team environment



Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and specialized application software associated with the Procurement function (such as P2P)



Demonstrated problem solving skills



Business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
