We are seeking an experienced professional to join us to manage a team of process engineers who are responsible for maturing the Enterprise BPM Process Improvement and Measurement Practices. This team will partner with Group BPM offices and process measurement and improvement practitioners to understand the needs of the practitioners so that we can provide Wells Fargo standards for these practices at our company. This will include responsibilities such as:



Primary Responsibilities:



- Manage and develop a team of direct reports who are Process Measurement and Improvement experts

- Provides clear and concise direction, coaching and development of direct reports

- Performs hiring of new team members when needed

- Develop user friendly process measurement and improvement content to help practitioners perform techniques properly and in a manner that can be easily described to business partners. Content will include the following:



- Templates

- Processes

- Procedures

- User aids, guides, instructions

- Use Cases



- Modernize the content for more effective and efficient consumption

- Tailor process improvement material to meet specific use cases

- Accountable for management of strategy/roadmap of Process Measurement Practice

- Accountable for management of strategy/roadmap of Process Improvement Practice

- Accountable for holding strategic planning workshops with Process Measurement and Improvement Practitioner base and Delivery teams

- Accountable for full lifecycle of Process Measurement and Improvement demand



- Intake - Collect requests/needs for Process Measurement and Improvement Practices.

- Assess - Review requests/needs, prioritize and disposition.

- Definition - translation of needs into actionable requirements.

- Design - Translate requirements into value proposition, conceptual design, and deployment timeline.

- Build - Convert requirements and conceptual designs into formal body of knowledge (processes, procedures, playbooks, templates, guides, tools, artifacts, websites and educational material). Also includes policy alignment when needed.

- Test - Partner with Delivery teams to ensure that the Practices meet the appropriate expectations.

- Deploy - accountable for scheduling and coordinating appropriate activities such as communication and final training to transition solutions into live use across company.



- Partners with Training and Professional Development team to incorporate Process Measurement and Improvement practices into training curriculum

- Accountable for continued maintenance and enhancement of Process Measurement and Improvement Required Practices (standards)

- Accountable for partnering with Business Process Governance team to ensure the BPM Policy stays aligned with the most current 'Process Measurement and Improvement' practices

- Responsible for partnering with BPM Practice Integration lead to:



- Accommodate other program needs across enterprise that rely on Process Measurement and Improvement practices

- Build continued integration between BPM Practices (Process Definition, Process Measurement and Process Improvement)



- Accountable for implementing and maintaining Process Measure and Improvement user forum

- Accountable for team of subject matter experts on object modeling standards and functionality in iGrafx



- Expert in all areas of the iGrafx tool suite:

- Process Modeling & Analysis

- Process Modeling & Architecture

- Risk Management

- Performance Management

- Understands Process Decomposition - decomposing large complex business areas into process inventory

- Team will have to ability to provide guidance to Business Process Owner and other stakeholders on the high-level definition of processes and their linkages to the various elements of the enterprise (process, risk, control, application etc.)

- Manage workload in JIRA and will provide regular updates to stories

- Team may need to participate in UAT and Regression testing



The ideal candidate can be located in any of the major Wells Fargo Campus locations, such as: San Francisco, Irving, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas, San Antonio, Des Moines, Minneapolis, Saint Louis, Chicago, New York, Charlotte.

- Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks



Required Qualifications



- 15+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: process engineering, military (supply chain, analytics and/or engineering); or LEAN/Six Sigma Black belt and 12+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: process engineering, military (supply chain, analytics or engineering)

- 2+ years of management experience



Desired Qualifications



- BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, engineering, or physics

- Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) software such as iGrafx

- Knowledge and understanding of Statistical Analysis software such as Minitab

- Facilitation skills such as Helix

- Change Management skills such as Prosci/ADKAR

- Knowledge and understanding of Rapid Process Automation software such as Blue Prism

- Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities

- Agile experience

- Financial services industry experience

- Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment

- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

- Ability to manage complex projects in a large enterprise environment

- Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability

- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

- Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

- Strong collaboration and partnering skills

- Experience analyzing business requirements and transforming those requirements into business rules
