Motion Technologies is one of four ITT Value Centers focused on the

Transportation industry. The Motion Technologies Value Center

Wolverine s Global Footprint:

We employ approximately 600 people worldwide, with global headquarters

in Dearborn, MI.

Performs general manufacturing duties to ensure production goals are

achieved. Monitors the process so that quality standards are met.

Operates various pieces of equipment to produce finished product. Able

to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Position

Responsibilities and Expectations:

a) Follows all safety rules and procedures in the performance of the

position s duties, reports any unsafe practices to the supervisor,

and has a safety first mindset.

b) Performs tasks as required for the assignment.

c) Activates controls.

d) Starts up, operates and adjusts equipment.

e) Installs and troubleshoots material to ensure conformance to

dimensional specifications.

f) Supports and adheres to policies, procedures and operational

guidelines related to established quality management systems.

g) Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment as needed, and may

perform routine repairs on equipment.

h) Ability to obtain material handling certification to operate a

forklift.

i) Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Ability to work any continuous or fixed shift schedule including

any day of the calendar week as required for operation of the position

and mandatory overtime as implemented by management.

Ability to read and interpret complex instructions, e-mails and

letters. Ability to write simple correspondence, and to effectively

present information in one-on-one and small group situations to

co-workers, customers and clients.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of

measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of

concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization

exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in

written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly

required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach

with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is

occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel,

crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up

to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include

close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth

perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently

exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally

exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high precarious places;

extreme heat; extreme cold; fumes or airborne particles; and

vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually

moderate.
