WorleyParsons Global IT Group is embarking on a significant initiative to define a high-level enterprise information architecture focusing on the mapping of future-state IT capabilities to business needs. To drive this imperative, we are now seeking to secure an experienced Enterprise Information Architect.


The primary responsibility of the Enterprise Information Architect is to develop an enterprise-wide and global information architecture focusing on the mapping of information capabilities to business and application needs. The Enterprise Information Architect creates and maintains information architecture best practices, addressing application, data and technology in the context of business processes across the group. The focus will be on developing and maintaining an Information Lifecycle definition and align all application information needs to that lifecycle approach. The position provides direction and accountability for strategic information architecture plans, system design, and implementation.

Specific accountabilities will include:

- Working closely with the Global Enterprise Architecture Team and determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and information roadmaps (replace, retire, maintain, etc.);

- Develop and tailor information design concepts and implementation plans for the efficient transformation of the current information portfolio;

- Provide insights into best practices for information architecture design and have a deep knowledge of the Microsoft, and Oracle database technologies;

- Technical guidance, and support in the deployment of complex global enterprise information architectures in a distributed computing environment;

- Provide individual or project support for complex projects, adhere to project timelines and technical deliverables within different business groups and provide quality enterprise information solutions

- Incorporate SOA principles into enterprise architecture design, including identifying opportunities for common information services and information service reuse.

Whatyou will bring

Technical and Industry Experience:

Some of the skills, experience andattributes we will be looking for include:

- Demonstrated understanding of implementation of architecture frameworks in a global organization;

- Thorough understanding of enterprise application integration involving databases, SaaS applications, and unstructured data;

- Knowledge of cloud based data architectures e.g. Hadoop, NoSQL, Data Lakes, etc.


Experience creating Information architecturesand structures for Machine Learning applications;

- Exposure to engineering and design systems such as Hexagon, Bentley, AVEVA, Autodesk;

- Experience within a large multinational with globally distributed teams;

- Sophisticated senior level stakeholder engagement and management skills;

- Broad experience with COTS, SDLC, ADLC, SOA principles and methodologies;

- Able to collaborate across business lines and to consult and compromise with people of all levels;

- Demonstrable experience leading change management initiatives;

- Proven project management and strategic business planning skills;

- Resilient with high emotional intelligence and unquestioned integrity.

Education Qualifications, Accreditation,Training:



Degree in CS/IS with a strong preference for post-graduate qualifications
