About the position:

This position will be assigned to the Southern Pines Inn at Seymour Johnson AFB. This position is a Flexible position. Hours for this position will be determined by the facility manager and can range from 0-40 hours per week depending on the needs of the facility. Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and work in close environments.


Repairs/ maintains small engines, both gasoline and electric such as mowers, blowers, repairs furniture, and replaces parts on vacuum cleaners, refrigerators, shampooers, etc. 2. Maintains storage shed. 3. Fills cracks, repairs walls, installs shelves, and repairs room accessories (shower heads, curtain rods, door closures etc.) 4. Performs minor electrical repairs. 5. Must have experience in routine maintenance and servicing of facilities, utilities, and equipment. Must demonstrate ability to use a variety of common hand tools and follow non-technical instructions involving carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical work.


Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
