Description 

Analytic Developer (Senior)

Position is in support of the U.S. Army CCDC C5ISR Center Sustaining Base

Network Assurance Branch (SBNAB). Program objective is to address today's cyber

threats by designing and deploying game-changing cyber defense capabilities

that allow organizations to defend better, react faster, coordinate rapidly,

prioritize efforts, and respond smarter to security events, increased risks,

and/or operational directives.



Description: Provides architectural and big picture oversight for development

of new or enhanced products. Articulates the architectural vision,

conceptualizes and experiments with alternative architectural approaches,

creates models and component and interface specification documents, and

validates the architecture against requirements and assumptions. Work with

various product developers, product managers, and customer application experts

to create software products containing required features and modifications.

Provide technical advice to other departments within the organization, and may

be responsible for integrating components built by product developers. May lead

a team of planning analysts responsible for research and technical assistance

for a user group. Works without supervision on highly complex projects. Wide

latitude for independent judgment. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency.

Considered an emerging authority, who applies extensive technical expertise.

Develops technical solutions to complex problems. Exercises considerable

latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Strong

background in enterprise software development with proficiency in Java and

Python. Ability to translate mission requirements into a variety of software

products. Ability to Identify optimal methods for aggregating, storing,

correlating and visually depicting various types of data. Have a working

familiarity of open source Distributed MPP databases such as GreenPlum. Have a

working familiarity of open source Big Data technologies such as: Apache

Hadoop, Apache Kafka, etc.



Qualifications

Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 8 yrs of experience, or a Master's and 6 yrs

of experience.

Requires active TS/SCI clearance.

Requires current Information Assurance IT-III Certification (CASP+ CE, CCNA-

Security, CISA, CISSP (or associate), GCED, GCIH) and current Computing

Environment certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M.
