Associate Director Worldwide Franchise Strategy & Operations, Cardiovascular



Description



The Associate Director, Worldwide Franchise Strategy & Operations is responsible for leading a cross-functional matrix team to streamline and optimize operations and drive market engagement strategies to impact business performance. This individual will focus on developing innovative solutions to simplify operations across the Worldwide Brand Teams and Worldwide Medical Teams, identifying inefficiencies, and ensuring solutions are aligned with brand strategy. The individual will work directly with the Worldwide Brand Team and Medical Matrix Team leadership and gain exposure to the local markets across the organization.



Key Responsibilities



- Identify opportunities for simplification, apply appropriate level of rigor, propose solutions, and lead implementation across WWBTs and MMTs



- Plan and facilitate the Strategic Brand Planning process, including facilitating WWBT/MMT meetings to develop the strategic summary, disseminate to the markets, and coordinate timelines for the annual brand planning process



- Anticipate business needs around key events and proactively develop strategic plans to address needs and facilitate achievement of key decision points



- Drive commercial component of governance process; Lead the scheduling and development of key presentations within the governance process (ie. GT 3, 5, 6, 7)



- Summarize knowledge and market learnings for dissemination to markets to enable more efficient launch preparations and quick response to market events for in-market indications



- Facilitate requests for information from the WWBTs/MMTs to the markets, with a focus on identifying more efficient knowledge-sharing methods to reduce the workload on the market teams



- Lead budgeting process, including annual planning and April/September projection. Partner with the WWBT to identifying opportunities to reallocate resources as needed and ensure that the team meets their OpEx budget



- Support ad hoc strategic projects as requested by leadership (ie. Support Interchange Meetings across Medical, Commercial, and Access to share learnings across the markets leading into key Congresses)

Qualifications:



- Candidate must have a BA/BS degree or equivalent; MBA is preferred



- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical experience



- Marketing, sales, medical, or operations experience preferred



- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholder up, down and across the organization



- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and design and implement multiple projects simultaneously



- Demonstrated experience in successfully executing projects across multi-functional teams



- Concise and impactful oral and written communication skills



- Has demonstrated project management skills
