Inventory Managers...............

A newly built, state of the art warehouse facility on Middlemarch Business Park, Coventry is looking to recruit an experienced Inventory Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join s new "Branch, start-up" and be involved in the business foundations of this prestigious company.

Position Summary:
Ensure the smooth running of the full operation process and safe working practices within our fast-paced environment.
Responsible for maintaining and improving performance and productivity.
Ensure all KPI information is reported onto the correct systems accurately.

Primary responsibilities:
Manage and control stock within the operations warehouse facility.
Implement and manage perpetual inventory counts
Investigate and control discrepancies
Daily/monthly reporting
Oversee the stock control of all consumables
Developing, improving the company’s stock procedure
Dealing with stock queries from other department
Dealing with out of stock, discrepancies and delayed orders
Producing and analysing stock reports
Completing stock taking
Developing strategies for optimizing inventory
Stock allocation
Analysing trends within the goods in/replenishment areas
Liaising with purchasing/finance and operational team regarding product availability
Lead and motivate goods in team and other teams within the operational function
Ensure all Health and Safety processes are met at all times
End of year stock count
Suppliers Delivery times – to help with the flow
Manage Collection times/frequency for Royal Mail
Help develop and then manage additional Replen and Put away KPI’s
Critical consumable ordering

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Working knowledge of various Microsoft packages
Proven experience in warehouse inventory systems
Highly analytical
