Finance Manager required for an assignment based within an Educational establishment.
This is a temporary position, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
The role is due to start at the beggining of November.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
Lead and manage the finance function, implementing key strategies, policies and decisions.
Produce and maintain accurate accounts.
Closely monitor the budget and create monthly reports.
Provide, report and interpret management information and data to inform decision-making and enable planning, to include cash-flow monitoring, reporting and projection.
Lead and manage the payroll function.
Line management of the finance office.
To act as the company secretary.
Implement financial procedures, tenders and processes.
Ensure the financial reporting/filing requirements and deadlines are acheived.
Ensure all paperwork is up to date on Companies House.
The successful candidate will have all or most of the following qualities:
Business Management and/or Professional Accountancy qualification.
Experience of leading the strategic financial planning for an organisation as management.
Strategic business or service planning.
Knowledge of financial, budgetary and risk management.
An understanding of asset and facilities management.
Experience of staff leadership and management.
Strong people management skills.
Highly organised and excellent planning skills.
Due to the enviornment of the role, you must be prepared to undergo a DBS check.
